Anthony Capala
Anthony Capala is senior at West Anchorage High School. Born on May 15th, 2002 and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Capala is 17 years old and lives with his family and dog. This is Capala’s first year in Broadcast Journalism and has enjoyed his experience thus far.
A noticeable feature of Capala is his fiery passion of performing arts. Ever since Capala was a child, he always enjoyed singing with his mother and has always had the urge to share his interest. It wasn’t until years later where he found an outlet to perform in front of audiences. Capala is in Choir, Dance, and often steps into musical theatre. In these three arts, Capala has found a loving community. He hopes to inspire others and bring joy to others even if it lasts for a moment.
In the future, Capala has big dreams of performing. Musical theatre has recently become a huge part of his life. No matter what it is, Broadway or on tour, Capala hopes to pursue performing. His favorite musical will always and forever be Waitress.
“Dreams come and they go, but hold them and keep them and know that you need them when your breaking points all that you have. A dream is a soft place to land. May we all be so lucky.” – Soft Place To Land from Waitress the musical.
